|Elaine has a passion for science communication and brings this to all her events and presentations. She has developed a range of educational tools and materials for the world of science and sustainability. Elaine has presented science at the Museum of Applied Arts & Sciences (formerly the Powerhouse Museum) during National Science Week and worked for local and state government where she presented interactive sustainability workshops to audiences of all ages.
Elaine was a keen member of her high school science club and her passion for the nerd life hasn't left her since. Elaine graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Science/Media & Communication with first class honours. Outside of Fizzics, Elaine works at Monash University in outreach and communication of climate science. Her interests are primarily in science communication, climate change adaptation and grabbing any opportunity to make science fun and engaging!
