Dig a pit in the corner of your garden.

Line it with the dry grass or straw

2 Make your own compost - vegetable waste

Place in biodegradeable waste such as foodstuff and garden clippings.

Cover with a thin layer of soil.

Water once/twice a week to keep it moist to help the soil bacteria break the compost down. Every 2 weeks turn over the contents of the pit. This adds oxygen to help decomposition

3 Make your own compost - completed compost

Add more biodegradeable waste and soil as needed

After 3 – 4 months the compost manure will be ready to use on your garden
