Requirements

- For children aged 7 years and older. Younger students can feel squeamish.

- Maximum 30 Students.

- Access to a sink to wash up.

- Adult presence other than the presenter required throughout the presentation.

- Duration 60 minutes. Set up time 30 minutes. Pack up time 30 minutes.

- Cost $330 inc. GST for the 1st programme. $200 for each additional programme on the same day and same venue.

- Learn how to make fake skin.

- What is the difference between arterial and venous blood?

- Make clotted blood and realistic skin burns.

- What does blood from lungs look like?

- View blood, skin and hair under the microscope

- Learn the components of blood.

- We can provide 1 triangular bandage per participant.

- Cost $1.50 per participant.

Note

This workshop is not intended to be a first aid course.
It is a workshop where children learn basic human biology in a fun atmosphere.

If you can provide a qualified first aid instructor, the option of dressing wounds using bandages can be highly informative. A great idea for Scouts and Girl Guides!

Our presenters will not instruct in first aid procedures.
