Unlike others we don't charge per student as we know that this causes an additional administrative load on your school office. Most schools tend to fill the workshops based on our recommended maximum number of students. If you have any questions please contact us.

Curious Kids for Schools

Designed to complement the Physical Phenomena content strand for Early Stage 1 and Stage 1, your students investigate energy and use their senses to discover how the science activities and toys operate. Great for the COGS Unit 'Powering On".

The workshop utilises stations based around push and pull forces, gravity and energy change.
A great way to expand your physical phenomena unit!

Specific Outcomes

Physical Phenomena:

PP ES1.4: - examines moving toys and proposes explanations for their movement
- explores and manipulates moving parts in construction materials e.g. gears and wheels

PP S1.4 - experiments with a range of materials and found objects to produce a range of sounds
- collects toys that move and classifies them according to their type movement
- explores and describes how pushes and pulls can make things move

Living Things:

LT ES1.3: sorts animal models and/or plant pictures according to differences and similarities

Learning processes: INV ES1.7, INV S1.7

Fits within COGS Unit 'Powering On' and 'Moving'.

Many hands-on activities for younger students
