A practical workshop where students get to design and build their own bridges using hot glue guns and ice cream sticks.
Specific content covers the differences between truss arrangements and how they influence bridge strength.
What forces act within a bridge and how do engineers compensate for them within modern designs? Find out when you put your design to the test!
