Jabiru (Black-necked Stork)

Description

Large stork that stands up 1.5 meters. Wing span 2 meters. Feeds on fish, frogs, rodents and eels.

Nests

Breeds October to May, with 2 to 4 white eggs laid on a stick , grass and rush platform high and exposed in a tall tree. Male bird eyes are black, female eyes are yellow.
