Flowering Time

December to February. White flowers

Habitat

Widespread in high altitudes of the great dividing range, up to the limit of tree growth.

Snow gums regenerate by seed, epicormic shoots below the bark and by lignotubers.

The species E. niphophila has broader leaves than
E. paucilfora and occurs at the upper altitude limit of 1800m, being able tolerate temperatures of -18o C .
