Eastern Blue Groper
Description

Adult wrasse growing to 1.2 metres in length.
Distinctive blue colouration on male, red/brown colouration on female.
Found from shallow waters to 40 metres. Highly susceptible to spearfishing.

Fish emblem of NSW.
