In the April 2018 school holidays, USQ Toowoomba welcomes Fizzics Education to provide a range of exciting, engaging and hands-on school holiday programs!

  • Full day holiday program workshops and activities appropriate for all school-aged children.
  • Please bring food, a drink, a hat and appropriate clothing for science activities.

We will have a central sign-in at the USQ Toowoomba Campus

If children need to stay for the full day simply book your child into 2 x half day workshops and we'll take care of them during the break! These holiday program workshop sold out quickly, get in early to ensure that you don't miss out!  Refunds available if the event is cancelled or rescheduled.

NB: No peanuts allowed on-site.

Just an hour and a half drive west of Brisbane and two and a half hours from the Gold Coast, you'll find the USQ Toowoomba campus to the east of Southern Suburbs Rugby League Club. Translink connects the Toowoomba campus with all major shopping centres and suburbs within Toowoomba.

Exploring Science Day

Awesome kids holiday science fun!

Covering light, sound, movement, energy changes, air pressure and more as your child uses the hands-on science toys and experiments themselves. Plus our demonstrator will show you how can you sit on a chair of nails and shoot fog rings across the room... and you'll get to make gooey slime, giant bubbles & more!

So much to do, the kids absolutely love it :)

Extreme Engineering Full Day Workshop

The kids will have a blast in this school holiday workshop where they put their imagination to the test constructing all sorts of contraptions. We’ll investigate the design and structures of towers and bridges to understand what gives them the strength to hold up, we’ll create complex machines using common materials and undertake a challenge in making a spacecraft survive a landing!
