The session is a geared around a fun competition that kids just love. The children will work together to construct their creations and will have a chance to try different truss arrangements to find out the strongest design. We will bring table covers and work mats for each hands-on station. On booking please be advised that hot glue guns are used throughout this workshop. Appropriate safety precautions and instructions are provided. All care is taken however we do not take responsibility for injuries caused by misuse of our equipment. Requirements Appropriate for age 7 years and up with a maximum of 30 students per class. 10 Tables arranged near power points for easy access. Chairs are required. Access to at least 2 electrical power sockets (preference for 3 or 4). Duration 90 minutes, set up time 45 minutes and pack up time 45 minutes It is handy if you can have a stack of books nearby to help as a source of weight for the competition.
