The program begins with demonstrations on vibrations using screaming rods, thunderous drums and harmonic bells, followed by colour-changing chemical reactions and more! This holiday workshop has been adapted from our very popular science parties run across the country. The bulk of the session focuses on a variety of hands-on science toys setup as exploratory stations on light, sound, movement, energy changes and more. Most of the program is hands-on, where our presenters expand children’s understanding of science whilst allowing the kids to get involved! Online Class Version We’ve run live interactive distance programs since 2010 and are highly experienced in making online classes engaging for kids on a variety of web conferencing platforms. Activities may vary from those listed for the face-to-face version and will be tailored to age groups attending online. Upon booking, you will receive a PDF outlining the materials that you can have on hand to make the workshop more interactive. It’s not a problem if you can’t source all of the materials, as we’ll have these on hand for the workshop Full child protections are in place We usually connect to classes & homes via Zoom, however if you wish to use a different software we can work with you on getting the connection live.
