Lunar science made awesome!

Destination Moon

Lunar science & rockets in a fun format for the holidays!

Discover the science required to reach the Moon and the space programs that made it all happen. From trajectories and orbits to rocketry and materials science, we’ll look at current and future space missions!

Lunar Science Concepts:

  • 🚀 Trajectories & Orbits: Navigating through the stars.
  • 🚀 Rocketry: Action, reaction, and heavy lifting.
  • 🚀 Materials Science: What makes a spacesuit work?
  • 🚀 Astronomy: Exploring our place in the Universe.
  • 🚀 Future Missions: Returning to the lunar surface.

🚀 Did you know? We do real space science!

While Fizzics Education now works with the AVA Challenge to help students put real experiments on the International Space Station, our journey actually started in local backyards. We have been running space science programs for Libraries, OOSH, BASC, and Councils since 2010.

Led by a Churchill Fellow, we haven’t changed our focus: combining fun and real science to ignite a lifelong love of discovery for over 4 million students across Australia & beyond.
