Option 1: 5 day Science Program

Designed to cover a week of a teacher isolating due to COVID-19.

Each day we cycle different classes through a space such as library or hall, whereby students engage with science resources in either a workshop or show format (depending on your staffing needs).

We have over 40 science workshops & shows to choose from – the earlier you secure a staff member, the more choice you have of the programs on offer

Example week of COVID Casual Class Cover

The following example of a primary school program have concepts and resources that cover a broad range of grade levels & curriculum outcomes. As such, this sample program make it easy to cover a variety of grade levels (each link takes you through to more detail). Please note, we can run this for grades K to 10!

Monday – Light & Colour

Requirements

• The capacity of the program would be 4 x 1 hour programs during your normal face to face teaching time
• Up to 30 students per lesson if the programs are run as workshops
• Up to 60 students per lesson if the programs are run as shows
• We need 24 hours notice to secure materials & staff.

Cost

• $3300 inc. GST per week
• Regional areas please add $750 for accommodation

Option 2: A day of STEM

This full day program is designed to run with one class only throughout an entire day, whereby 30 students are challenged to solve a variety of age-appropriate STEM challenges using simple materials.

Example of STEM challenges

The following covers a typical STEM challenge day for grades 3 to 4. Please note we can run STEM challenges for grades K to 10!

• Available for K to 10
• A public space to run the program (eg. library or hall)
• Up to 30 students per day
• We need 24 hours notice to secure materials & staff.

Cost

• $660 inc. GST per day

Option 3: A week of online learning classes

Fizzics Education has been running award-winning live online classes for over 10 years. As such such there are over 30 online classes to choose from – the earlier you secure a staff member, the more choice you have of the programs on offer.

With full online child protection in place, each lesson can handle up to 90 students, whether they are coming in from your school or from home.

• Full system requirements for Zoom here
• Each student should test their Zoom connection here.
