Natural hazards & disasters

Natural hazards & disasters

Explore the conditions that cause disasters on Earth. From volcanoes to earthquakes to pandemics to meteorites, this workshop covers major issues in our world.

📚 Library Suitable

Natural Disasters

Investigating the powerful geological forces that shape our Earth!

How are the world’s most powerful events created? Our presenters demonstrate how natural disasters occur before kids get hands-on with the equipment to explore the science for themselves!

What we investigate:

  • 🌋 Volcanoes & Earthquakes: Plate tectonics in action.
  • 🌊 Tsunamis & Landslides: Understanding how they happen.
  • 🔥 Fire Storms: The science of heat and wind.
  • ☄️ Meteorites: Impacts from outer space.
  • 🌍 Earth Science: How our planet stays active.
📚

LIBRARY ADJUSTMENT: We can remove all fire demonstrations at your request.

✨ Reliability You Can Trust

Coordinating geological science programs requires a partner with proven experience and safety protocols.

Since 2004, our team led by a Churchill Fellow has delivered high-impact science visits to over 4 million students. We ensure your earth science session is visually stunning and safe.
