Stars & Planets: Space Science

Investigating the Universe and the secrets of space exploration!

Children gain an appreciation of astronomy and insight into our place in the Universe through immersive, hands-on exploration of galaxies and space technology.

What we explore:

  • 🌍 Solar System: The relationship between the Earth, Moon, and Sun.
  • 🌊 Tides: How celestial bodies impact our oceans.
  • 💥 Cosmology: Visualising the Big Bang and distant galaxies.
  • 👨‍🚀 Space Tech: How astronauts survive outside our atmosphere.
  • 🔭 Observation: Techniques for viewing the deep Universe.

🚀 Did you know? We do real space science!

While Fizzics Education now works with the AVA Challenge to help students put real experiments on the International Space Station, our journey started in local backyards.

We have been running space science programs for Libraries and Councils since 2010. Led by a Churchill Fellow, we have reached over 4 million students across Australia & beyond.

Mosman Library

Lots of hands on stuff for kids to do. I liked the appeal to a range of ages which is good for us. Will definitely keep you guys in mind for the next time.

Campbelltown Council Holiday Workshops

Great variety, well organised and setup efficiently. The program was suitable for the ages of the children. The equipment was safe and sturdy. The children loved the 'air rocket and hurricanes'. Thank you so much!
