Consumer Science Products 

  • Via Paypal, Afterpay, POLi or Stripe on our website or via a school purchase order on arrangement with our office (conditions apply).
  • If splitting payments, direct credit card payments attract a 2% charge (Visa & Mastercard accepted).

Domestic Shipping costs

  • Shipping rate is automatically calculated for orders under $100 (Australia-wide).
  • Free for orders over $100 (Australia-wide).
  • Express Post: $17 for orders up to $100 and $5 for orders over $100

Delivery is normally within 5 working days on the eastern seaboard (NSW, VIC & QLD). Delivery to WA, NT, TAS and SA can be 7 to 10 working days. Standard delivery is by Australia Post registered surface mail otherwise direct courier or airmail is used (subject to item availability and arrangement with our office).  If you choose express post as a delivery option we will send your order within 24 hours on a business day.

Contactless pick up of orders is currently available. Customers will be contacted to an agreed 60-minute window to for collection. This is only available between the hours of 9:30am – 2:30pm weekdays.

International Shipping costs

  • International order shipping prices are calculated at checkout.
  • Payment through Paypal or Stripe is recommended.
  • The receiver must pay for any customs costs per their local government regulations.
  • Delivery times are dependent on your location and postal service in your country.

Item Availability

If an item is currently not stocked we will endeavour to inform you and give an approximate time of delivery or alternatively organise a refund. Please note that we cannot control 3rd party suppliers who no longer stock items and we will refund any purchases made on such items. In all cases, we will act fairly and responsibly; please leave your contact information with your order so we can communicate with you quickly if an issue arises.

We reserve the right to alter the cost and availability of products where and when necessary.
We cannot control 3rd party delivery times; the quoted delivery times are only an approximation and as such are only a guide to average delivery times. Please have patience, your goods will arrive!

Discounts & sales

Discount codes cannot able to be used on sale items.
Multiple discount codes can not be used on a single purchase.

Order shipping during Covid-19 restrictions

As you might expect, in the new world of global pandemic many things have changed, and among them shipping times. We have had to adjust to the situation by setting up very strict rules to protect the health of our customers and employees, and as a result the shipping times are slightly longer than usual.

Deliveries during the Christmas season

During the Christmas holiday period, we recommend delivery via Express Post as it is much faster.
We cannot guarantee 3rd party deliveries.

Orders placed with Express postage prior to December 17 before 12:00pm should arrive before Christmas if you are in an Australian metropolitan area. However, please note that Australia Post has been heavily impacted by COVID and we cannot guarantee arrival due to unforeseen delays.

The last day that we will ship items is on December 17.
Any orders received after 12pm on December 21st will be sent on January 4th.

  • It is important that you leave your contact phone number where possible*.
  • If you require an item urgently, please contact the office and we can organise a courier service for you.

Returns Policy

Delivery of incorrect item

  • Items being returned must be forwarded within 7 days of being shipped. Items must not have broken packaging or be damaged in any way. Delivery of the correct goods will organised at our expense as soon as possible, otherwise a refund will be given upon return of the incorrect item.

Purchase of a faulty item

  • All goods are considered to be in working order when they leave the premises. If fault occurs please phone 1300 856 828 to report the problem. Refund or exchange of goods will be dependent upon the date of purchase.

Purchase of an incorrect item

  • We are happy to offer an exchange of goods for incorrect purchases however further postage costs will be incurred by you as the purchaser.

Items not received

  • All purchases are sent via registered post which provides an individual registered number for your order. All sent items are expected to be delivered within reasonable delivery times across Australia as stated by Australia Post. Should items not be delivered we will open an inquiry with Australia Post to track your order and confirm that the item has been lost. We will endeavour to re-issue your goods as soon as possible however there may be some delays whilst re-sourcing your items.

Science Outreach Services

School & Preschool Science Visits

  • Please arrange full payment via EFT or cheque 7 days prior to the day of your visit from us.
  • Credit card payments attract a 2% charge (Visa & Mastercard accepted).
  • International schools can pay either through Paypal or via cheque arranged with our office.
  • Please send through remittance so that we can reconcile your payment.

Vacation Care & OOSH Holiday Science Visits

  • To secure your booking please arrange full payment via EFT or cheque before the day of your visit from us.
  • Credit card payments attract a 2% charge (Visa & Mastercard accepted).
  • Cancellations <4 weeks from a given booking date attract a 50% booking fee.
  • Due to the high demand for our holiday programs cancellations <2 weeks from a given booking date will be invoiced at the full booking rate.
  • Please send through remittance so that we can reconcile your payment.

Children’s Science Parties

  • To secure your booking please arrange a deposit payment at the time of your booking and full payment via EFT.
  • Credit card payments attract a 2% charge (Visa & Mastercard accepted).
  • For your security and that of our, staff no cash is taken on the day.
  • Please send through remittance so that we can reconcile your payment.

COVID-19 affected events

We appreciate the need to postpone or cancel workshops, show, parties & events based on government restrictions based on COVID-19. In the case of an event being affected by COVID-19 restrictions, we will work with you to postpone & find an alternate date that works. In the event of prolonged COVID-19 restrictions, we will offer an online version of the program where possible or otherwise refund the payment for the event.
