Terms of Trade Cookie Policy Privacy Policy Online Child Protection Policy Online Science Classes Terms & Conditions Holiday Requirements, FAQs & Allergies Policy Prevention of abuse client protection policy Copyright Notice Hardware & Sensory Privacy Policy Trustpilot This policy governs the use of device hardware—specifically microphones and cameras—across all web-based applications and software tools developed by Fizzics Education Pty Ltd. The “Live-Only” Standard Our apps are designed for interactive learning. To facilitate this, we may request access to your device’s Microphone (for audio analysis) or Camera (for motion tracking, augmented reality, or visual experiments). Our Core Privacy Guarantee: No Recording We never record or capture audio snippets, photos, or video files. No Storage No sensory data is ever written to a hard drive, server, or database. Local Processing All data is processed “in-flight” within your browser’s temporary memory (RAM). Once the mathematical calculation is performed (e.g., measuring the decibel level or detecting a hand gesture), the raw data is immediately overwritten. No Transmission Your likeness and your voice never leave your local device. 2. Permissions and Transparency We believe in user-controlled privacy. Our applications follow standard web security protocols: Explicit Consent Access is never “silent.” Your browser will prompt you to Allow or Block access each time a new session begins. Indicator Lights We rely on hardware and browser-level indicators (such as a green or red light/icon) to ensure you are aware when a sensor is active. Instant Revocation You may terminate sensor access at any second by closing the browser tab or adjusting your site permission settings. 3. Usage of Sensory Data Any data accessed via the microphone or camera is used strictly for functional, educational purposes, such as: Acoustic Analysis Visualising sound waves or measuring frequency. Motion Detection Allowing students to interact with digital elements via physical movement. Optical Experiments Using the camera as a light sensor or colour detector. 4. Third-Party Policy Because Fizzics Education Pty Ltd does not collect or store sensory data, we do not have any “biometric” or “audio” data to sell, share, or provide to third-party advertisers, analytics providers, or government agencies. 5. Compliance for Schools and Parents This policy is designed to comply with strict student privacy regulations, including the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), COPPA, and GDPR. By ensuring that no data is ever recorded or transmitted to a server, we eliminate the risk of PII (Personally Identifiable Information) leaks related to a child’s voice or image.
