Students with special needs love our science programs! We believe that science should be accessible to everyone, which is why we offer over 20 incursions specifically adapted to support different learning requirements.

From high-energy shows like Big Science Big Fun to tactile, hands-on workshops such as Forces, Friction & Movement, our sessions are designed to be sensory-friendly, engaging, and highly interactive.

For our NSW schools, our adapted special needs programs remain grounded in the NSW Science and Technology K–6 Syllabus. We work closely with teachers to select experiments that meet the learning intentions of your current Stage while accommodating the individual support needs of your students.

👨‍🎓 Attendance: Max 30 students per class.

🏫 Target: Appropriate for Years K to 10.

Setup/Pack up: 45 minutes each.

Power: 1 electrical power socket required.

🕒 Flexible Duration: Sessions can be modified to 30 or 45 minutes to suit student needs.

📍 Adaptations

🪑 Space: 12 tables for workshops; 2 tables for shows.

🔇 Sensory: Flashing lights or loud sounds can be removed upon request.

🔥 Safety: No fire is used unless explicitly approved by the school.
